What we collect

Operational commerce data only.

MarginPilot stores shop, catalog, inventory, supplier, purchase-order, and aggregated order-performance data needed to operate the app. The current product does not persist customer names, customer emails, addresses, or other customer profile fields in its database.

How data is used

To calculate decisions, not to profile customers.

Data is used to calculate profitability, stock coverage, reorder recommendations, draft purchase orders, and operational alerts for the merchant who installed the app.

Sharing and subprocessors

Hosted securely with infrastructure providers.

MarginPilot uses infrastructure providers to host the app, store operational data, and send transactional supplier emails. Merchant data is not sold.

Deletion requests

Shopify privacy workflows are honored.

MarginPilot responds to Shopify privacy webhooks for merchant data deletion and customer redaction requests. If a merchant uninstalls the app or requests deletion, shop data is removed according to Shopify platform requirements.
